After losing their game to Detroit on Sunday 37-27, our former NFC Championship opponents suddenly find themselves in a 1-3 hole. That’s right. If we beat Carolina in the Sad House next week, we’ll have the same record as the Chicago Bears.
The long-awaited quarterback change was finally made by Lovie Smith from Rex Grossman to Brian Griese. What a shame too. It happened just when Rex finally figured out that he “had to don’t turn the ball over.” C’mon Coach.
Apparently, this change did no good as Griese’s 3INTS aided the Lions in a close game in which they broke open.
The biggest surprise is probably Chicago’s D.
They only look 10 times better than our Defense, not 20; what’s going on?
The Bears will now face a struggle to get back to .500 as much of the other teams are doing, the same teams that were fallin on their faces last year when we were WINNING.
I’ll be bustin out the report card again on Sunday for the Panthers, but don’t expect higher than a B under any circumstances for this game.
