Well here it goes, here it goes, here it goes again, to quote the chorus to the fun song by Ok Go. Now the world can be happy to know that when Brett Favre officially retires in the month of August, it is still no guarantee that he will remain officially retired, leaving most just absolutely baffled. I mean, what will it take for him to go away? Not that I want him to. I think it’s exciting. Every year he comes back the story gets more and more interesting. But will he EVER get to old for this?

Well, I definitely think his day is fast approaching. This is the first year Favre has decided to skip training camp before coming out of retirement. It’s obvious he was trying to get out of going because according to sources with the Vikings, they already knew this was going to happen the first day of camp. The day Favre “decided” to remain retired and all of the public was sadly searching for that period to put at the end of the sentence, the Vikings were finalizing a deal with Favre.

Now the man is obviously getting to old to take the bruttle drills and hard work of training camp. Next it’ll be preseason and after that, well,  it’ll be retirement. He’s got two more years, bank on that, which happens to be the length of his newly signed $10 million contract with the Minnesota Vikings.
