It’s finally here, after a long week of agony and pacing up and down the floor thinking, thinking, thinking, thinking. At least that’s what I was doing. The Saints are about to kick off their biggest game in franchise history: a Conference title game in front of the who dat nation, who will undoubtebly be bringing the heat on Sunday. Of course it won’t hurt the Vikings any due to their silly earplugs and silent snap counts, but it will be very loud just the same. The only guy to truly worry about in this game, besides of course Jared Allen is Pat Williams. He looks like he’s 400 pounds from the neck down to his feet and he has an extreme hatred for New Orleans and south Louisiana as a whole. Last time we played a guy in a Conference title game who looked like a monster and was accompanied by an extremely unappealing characteristic, i.e. Tank Johnson of the Chicago Bears who had a jail record, we got decimated and he undeservingly went on to the Super Bowl. I don’t even care if he, himself, did not make the trip with the team, his team still got to go. Jahri Evans better pack his lunch or he’s gonna get get the worst of this.
Now here are the keys to winnig this game:
PROTECT, PROTECT, PROTECT, PROTECT, PROTECT, PROTECT, PROTECT, PROTECT, PROTECT, PROTECT, PROTECT, PROTECT, PROTECT, PROTECT, PROTECT, PROTECT, PROTECT, PROTECT the franchise quarterback. Minnesota’s linebackers and defensive backfield are average and great O-line play will help us score points.
Fill every running seem imaginable and make Favre eat grass.
We should be okay.
